Something new is here…

Getting whisked off to an alternative dimension is bad enough, but when you’re not exactly in the first flush of youth it adds another, um… dimension!

Maisie Poppleswick has long believed in the kind of things most people rarely think about. Her sister Doris shakes her head and tries to ignore her belief in stuff that goes bump in the night… perhaps hoping it’s just a phase which one day will simply fade away.

Sadly for Doris, late one night everything changes. Any slight hope of phases fading innocently away is instantly dashed when a walking stick knocks on their front door.

Its owner’s appearance is a little unusual, to say the least. The request he makes is no less strange. Desperate to find his missing wife, he tells Maisie and Doris they are the only ones who can help.

That in itself is nothing they haven’t dealt with before. Then he explains that in order to help find his wife they must travel to another dimension!

Those of you familiar with our ‘Daisy’ series will be no strangers to Maisie and Doris. Featuring in Daisy’s world, they’ve played a role in the stories for some time. So much so we decided they deserved their own series, and ‘The Poppleswick Chronicles’ was born.

However, we didn’t want it to be just a ‘spin-off’… it had to be something different. So rather than another cozy mystery series, PC is ‘cozy fantasy’.

Like the ‘Daisy’ series, it’s full of quirky and sometimes dangerous characters, copious amounts of humour, and life-threatening situations.

It might just be unlike anything you’ve ever read before!
